We’ve got big news. Our brand new flagship store on London’s Oxford Street has just re-opened its doors, bringing with it a wealth of new ideas and a fresh take on how the tech shopping experience should look, feel, and operate.

So what’s new? And what can you expect to find when you pop along? Here’s what the high street store of tomorrow looks like…

Rethinking retail

We’re big on the high street – and we don’t just mean physically. While our new Oxford Street store may sprawl over three futuristic floors, the real story here is about Vodafone UK continuing to invest in our high street presence, in a way that complements our fantastic online offering. It’s part of our continued focus on improving our customer experience on all fronts, including in person, and it’s all designed around you.

That’s why – as well as the usual swathe of awesome smartphones and services to peruse and play with – our new store also offers support, advice and repairs from the dedicated Vodafone techteam. But that’s just the beginning:

1. techteam and repairhub

Located on the first floor (right near a supply of complementary coffee), our techteam are here to help you with all manner of questions and queries. Here you can grab an appointment for some personal one-on-one time for as little as £20, which you can use to seek software fixes, learn some new tips and tricks, or answer any other puzzling phone problems you might have. Need some more serious work done? The repairhub is ready and waiting to take on your hardware-based fixes. From here, you’ll be able to get screen repairs, battery replacements and more done while you wait, with a courtesy phone to use in the interim. All our repairhub work is done right on the shop floor, can be completed within an hour, and will come with a 12-month warranty alongside a no-fix, no-fee policy. Nice.

2. Workhub

Business and Enterprise customers looking to knuckle down between their shopping sprees can head downstairs to the new workhub, a communal working space designed to let you crack on without the distractions normally associated with Oxford Street’s bustling atmosphere.

With quiet spaces available to book on arrival, workhub offers speedy Vodafone WiFi, a watercooler and free toilet facilities, as well as the ability to book meetings with us to talk about your business plan.

3. Click and Collect

Click/Call and Collect is a really useful experience for lots of people – sometimes the best way to order a new device is online or over the phone, with the knowledge you can pop into your nearest store on the way to or from work to pick it up.

That’s why we’ve given Click/Call and Collect its own special spot in our new flagship store. Here, you’ll be able to stroll in and pick up your order without worrying about getting caught in a busy period.

On top of all this, the store has several new areas dedicated to helping you explore our huge range of products, bookable rooms for groups, and a devoted space just for VOXI – our sister brand for the under-30s.
