The hardest part? Choosing which option to go with…
Luckily, we’ve rounded up the best of the best to help with your decision. Read on to find out what’s in store this month in the world of TV, music and sport…
We’ve not seen a new album from Kylie since 2016’s Kylie Christmas (Snow Queen Edition), so it’s great to see her back in the spotlight and getting her groove on.
Kylie’s upcoming album ‘Golden’ is set to drop on 6 April, and it’s safe to say it’s a little bit country. Shaped by a two-week trip to Nashville, Tennessee, Kylie describes the album as “Dolly Parton standing on a dance floor”.
First single, Dancing, has already proven a huge hit with fans. According to this recent piece by Entertainment Weekly, some have even asked for it to be played at their funerals, thanks to a clever double meaning.
It won’t be long until we can all enjoy the album in full, until then, you can listen to Dancing for yourself on Spotify below, as well as most recent release Stop Me From Falling.
Others to keep an ear out for this month include Resistance Is Futile from Manic Street Preachers on 6 April, and Joyride from Tinashe on 13 April.
NOW TV Entertainment Pass
Legion, or David Haller if you’re a true Marvel Comics fan, makes his way to NOW TV from 1 April for season one. Diagnosed with schizophrenia as a child, David has spent years going in and out of psychiatric hospitals, until one day in his 30s he begins to wonder if the voices in his head are actually real.
Has he been misdiagnosed all these years? Is there a reason why he hears these voices? Be sure to watch to find out.
Then, just 17 days later, season two of this X-Men spinoff arrives for some more mutant fun that’ll be aired weekly.
Want a peep at what Legion has to offer? Here are season one and two trailers:
Sky Sports Mobile TV
There’s plenty of sporting action to enjoy over on Sky Sports in April, so much so that we couldn’t possibly cover all the bases. However, here’s our three top picks to whet your appetite:
Premier League Darts airs on Sky Sports Action at 19:00 On 5 April, showing the 10th game in the league at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.
With a prize fund totaling £825,000, ten players will compete to win the first prize of £250,000. Runners up will share the rest of the pot, depending on their place on the leaderboard. Some of the players include three-time winner Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson in his 8th appearance in this league, and Rob Cross in his debut.
Playing at home, Man Utd squares up against Arsenal in the English Premier League at Old Trafford on 29 April at 16:30.
It’s set to be a tough game, especially for one player: Alexis Sanchez. He left Arsenal to join Manchester United in January and has so far only scored one goal for The Red Devils. We can only imagine coming head-to-head with former teammates will only exacerbate the problem.
We’ll see, at the end of the month.
Following three practices on 6 and 7 April, the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix qualifying starts at 16:00 on 7 April on Sky Sports F1 HD. The real race will take place Sunday 8 April. With a current record of 1:31:447, could we see the fastest lap time yet? You’ll have to tune in and see. Upgrade to Pack 2 to enjoy Sky Sports Golf, Cricket, Football and F1 as well, and never miss another sporting moment!
Are you ready for VR? If you’re looking for virtual reality 101, step this way.
