The transfer window has closed and the Premier League table is starting to take shape. First match of the month is Man City vs Liverpool at 12.30pm Saturday 9 and, after settling for one point a piece last time they met, both are out to take all three. Can’t be there in person? Sky Sports Mobile TV has you covered, with an all new dedicated Premier League channel right there on your phone. Tune in throughout the month for all the major fixtures – including our pick, Arsenal vs West Brom at 8pm Monday 25 September.

After a rough start to the season, Arsenal will be hoping to fair a little better against West Brom at the Emirates. It’s a game made all the more interesting by recent transfer action. Following 137 senior appearances for the Gunners, full back Kieran Gibbs is now wearing white and navy, while the Baggies’ line-up is further strengthened by Paris St-Germain midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak on season loan.

Over in the Southern Hemisphere, things are heating up as well, as our netballers compete against the kiwis for the Taini Jamison Trophy. Catch the first game at 8.45am Thursday 7, the second at the eye-wateringly early hour of 3am Sunday 10 and the third at 8.30am Wednesday 13, live on Sky Sports Arena. It’s a test best suited to early risers, but what a way to start the day.

NOW TV Mobile Entertainment Pass

We’ve got good news and bad news for Walking Dead fans: there’s still one month to go ‘til the walkers return for Season 8, but you can stream seasons 1-7 on NOW TV today. That gives you plenty of time to catch-up or recap on all the gory goodness ahead of episode 100 in October. Get in the mood for post-apocalyptic mayhem with Negan’s best quotes below:

Need something else to tide you over? Try new British revenge thriller, Tin Star. Starring Christina Hendricks (Madmen) and Tim Roth (The Hateful Eight), it follows the story of a London police detective-turned-police-chief in a small Colorado town. If the trailer’s anything to go by, it will be full of blood and drama. Tune in to NOW TV this September 7 for the release of all 10 parts.

Self-described “Celtic soul trio”, The Script are back with new album – Freedom Child. In an exclusive interview with Metro, vocalist Danny O’Donoghue described the band’s new sound as “a progression”, but don’t expect a total departure – it’s sure to satisfy old fans as well as new. Listen in to latest single Love Not Lovers below and check out the album in its entirety on Spotify today.

Also new to Spotify Premium this month is the latest album from New Zealand-born multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Jordan Rakei. Due for release September 22, Rakei’s album Wallflower effortless traverses a myriad of genres from classic soul and jazz to hip-hop, for a sound that transcends time. Get a feel for the album with new track Nerve below.

If you’re after something more energetic, we recommend new album Visions of a Life from raucous indie rock foursome Wolf Alice – set for release September 29. Or stay mellow with Cambridge-born singer/songwriter Nick Mulvey’s Wake Up Now, due out September 8.
