Well, wasn’t summer fun? We hope you enjoyed it, because the show’s over now. Autumn is well and truly upon us, and the temperatures will soon start plummeting as steadily as the leaves and rain

Not everything has to be doom and gloom, though! As it turns out, September is a particularly action packed month for #4GEntertainment fans, with loads of new music and TV arriving, as well as a hefty helping of live sport.

If you’re looking at one of our Red Value 4G Bundles, you’ll notice that they come with your choice of subscription to either Sky Sports Mobile TV, Spotify Premium or a NOW TV Entertainment Pass at no extra cost*. And to try and make that choice easier, we scour the internet for the latest TV, music and sport every month – so you don’t have to miss a thing. Let’s kick things off with an action packed month of sport…

Sky Sports Mobile TV

skysportsthumbTo football fans we say: you made it! Although the Premier League kicked off again in August, September is the first full month of footy for you to get stuck into, and there are some almighty clashes waiting in the wings, all live and exclusive on Sky Sports. First up? Man Utd battle Liverpool at Old Trafford on 12 September, with United travelling to Southampton the week after, and Newcastle vs. Chelsea the pick of the games on 26 September.

And there’s European Qualifiers too, with Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Wales – the world’s 10th best team in FIFA’s latest rankings – all in action in the first week of September.

Cricket lover? The Ashes may have been won back in emphatic style by England’s cricketers, but there’s still the small matter of a One Day International series to be dealt with. Australia are still the world champions, and the top ranked ODI team in the world, but England will be looking to carry through their impressive Ashes form into the five-game series, starting on 3 September.

And there’s plenty more going on besides. England Rugby take on Ireland in a Rugby World Cup warm up on 5 September, and there’s also the ever-present Super League, with Leeds, St Helens, Wigan and Castleford all in action throughout the month.

Spotify Premium

spotify-new-logo-2015There’s an awful lot of new music coming your way in September, so no matter what your preferred genre, there’s bound to be something for you. EDM fans can look forward a second album from hit-makers Rudimental, for starters, with ‘We The Generation’ due out on 18 September. If new single ‘Rumour Mill’ is anything to go by, it looks like the Hackney-based quartet aren’t struggling at all with the difficult second album.

After featuring on Rudimental’s first album, Ella Eyre’s star has risen in the last year as well, culminating in her debut album ‘Feline’, which landed on Spotify on 28 August. You can listen to the new single – ‘Even If’ – right below:

There’s also the prospect of a new album from Swedish DJ Avicii, who you can win tickets to see at Creamfields 2015 right here!

Elsewhere, there’s lots to shout about for rockers new and old. Dave Gilmour and Keith Richards both have new records dropping in September, while metalheads can look forward to Iron Maiden and Slayer’s new albums, and there’s brand new material on the way from The Libertines and The Stereophonics as well. What a month!

NOW TV Entertainment

NOW TV Entetainment thumbAs the nights start closing in on us, it’s perfect timing to set up camp on the sofa with a box set and a bowl of popcorn. Although you’ll have to provide the latter yourself, NOW TV Entertainment has all the TV you could ever want, including over 250 boxsets, and 13 top quality TV channels not available on Freeview.

There’s a healthy helping of comedy and drama to look forward to this month. Keep an eye out on 30 September for ‘You, Me and the Apocalypse’ – a cutting comedy drama that follows an eclectic group of individuals who are forced to survive together as an asteroid rockets towards Earth to end civilisation. Boasting an impressive international cast including Rob Lowe, Mathew Baynton, Jenna Fischer, Joel Fry, Megan Mullally and Pauline Quirk, this is a definite must-see.

Elsewhere, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s brand new comedy drama ‘Ballers’ comes to Sky Atlantic. Johnson plays Spencer Strasmore – a retired athlete trying to cope with the reality of life after football. Entourage-like bromance meets the NFL here, and if that sounds like your cup of tea, head over to Sky Atlantic on 8 September for the first two episodes.

Speaking of ‘Entourage’, season 1-8 is available through NOW TV Entertainment, along with season 1-5 of ‘The Walking Dead’ (from 3 September), and the first three seasons of Chris O’Dowd’s excellent comedy ‘Moone Boy’ (S1-2 available now, S3 available from 17 September) too! We’re spoilt for choice this September.
