Spotify Discover Weekly
There are loads of reasons to choose Spotify as your 4G entertainment package. We’ve recently brought you the low down on Spotify Running, and a behind-the-scenes look at the unique world of Spotify Sessions too. But at its core, Spotify has always been a brilliant way to discover new albums and artists, and today we bring news of Discover Weekly: a new way for you broaden your musical horizons.
Every Monday, Discover Weekly will bring you a whopping two hours of personalised music recommendations. These are based on the music that you’ve been listening to, but also on what other Spotify users tend to play alongside that music, with an emphasis on emerging artists and new talent.
Sounds good, right? Whilst Spotify uses some machine-learning protocols to build its Running playlists, Discover Weekly is based entirely on the listening habits of Spotify users like you. The result? Every single one of your Discover Weekly playlists will be totally unique and tailored to your tastes.
So, how do you get it? Well, you might already have it, actually. Discover Weekly will be available on all Spotify platforms, and it starts rolling out from today! So whether you’re listening on Android or iOS, or old school PC you’ll soon see your own personal ‘Discover Weekly’ playlist under ‘Your Music’, or you can find your weekly playlist it in the Browse section every Monday.
As a little bonus on top, if you want the playlist to be available offline, Spotify will update it overnight so the whole thing is ready for your Monday morning commute. Just don’t forget to save your favourites from last week! Dive into your Spotify app right now and head to the Browse section, or to your playlists, to get going!
