This month’s no different on that front, but there is something new: July marks the start of our third content partner offer. As of July 2014, when you sign up or upgrade to our Red 4G plan you can opt for six months of Netflix access as part of the deal. That is, of course, assuming #4GMusic or #4GSport don’t take your fancy. TV and movies, music, or sport…

Which one will you choose? To help make that decision, here’s a taste of what’s coming up each service over the next month:

Sky Sports Mobile TV

skysportsthumbThe World Cup may be coming to a close but Sky Sports can more than pick up the slack; there’s a wealth of sporting action throughout July, and if you choose Sky Sports Mobile TV as your Red 4G plan entertainment pack you can stream everything from Sky Sports 1 and 2 straight to your phone. That means you’ll be able to watch exclusive live coverage of the world’s biggest sporting events on the go.

The month in sport tees off with live and exclusive European Tour Golf from the Alstom Open de Franc on 3 July. That’s before the Scottish Open and Canadian Open weekends bring a barrage of pros to your smartphone screen, on 10-13 and 24-27 July respectively.

Cricket lover? There are plenty of live T20 domestic matches in July, plus the first and second test matches of England v India on 9-13 and 17-20 July. In Rugby, meanwhile, Sky Sports has four big Super League clashes, including Leeds Rhinos v Castleford Tigers and Catalans Dragons v Wigan Warriors. And football? We may be between seasons but you can still watch the world’s best players do their thing in the second ever Guinness International Championship Cup, a tournament that takes some of UK and European football’s best teams to the US to compete in front of a global audience. This year’s tournament kicks off on 24 July, and features the likes of Real Madrid, Man City and Liverpool. All of the above is exclusive to Sky Sports, and you can catch every kick, swing, and bat of it right on a compatible smartphone via Sky Sports Mobile TV.

Spotify Premium

spotifymainthumbChoose Spotify Premium as your 4G entertainment package and you’ll be unlocking a whole universe of music on your phone, tablet and desktop. There are over 20 million tracks in the Spotify arsenal, all available on demand – and Spotify boasts an amazing array of apps and tools to let you find your next favourite band from the hundreds of thousands on hand. When it comes to music, summer in the UK can only mean one thing: festivals.

With the festival season well into gear in July, we’ve asked Spotify to give us their best 2014 summer festival playlists.

Whether you’re just coming home from an epic weekend, looking forward to getting out there, or don’t have tickets but want to recreate the atmosphere in your back garden, here are the summer’s biggest festival tunes:

1. Reading & Leeds 2014 So Far

2. Glastonbury 2014: Radio One Recommends

Netflix

netflix thumbNetflix is the newest addition to our list of 4G content partners, and it offers an unrivalled library of TV shows and movies, all available to stream to your phone. The full catalogue of content on offer is too big to list here, but there’s plenty of brand new stuff landing each and every month, so there’s lots to get excited about.

If you’re new to Netflix, there’s an incredible selection of Netflix original shows that each raise the bar when it comes to drama. Top of your list should be House of Cards starring Kevin Spacey, and prison drama Orange Is the New Black, now in its second season. You can also stream all five seasons of AMC’s Breaking Bad – making Netflix the only place in the UK you can catch the acclaimed series in its entirety.

The best bit? It’s all on demand, so – whatever you choose – you can watch one episode at a time, or binge on a whole series at once.
