It’s a massive priority for us to make sure that you can keep on top of every aspect of your account wherever you are, without fuss, securely and entirely from within your phone, which is why we’ve been working round the clock to improve the My Vodafone app. Now the new version is ready, we thought we’d guide you through all the lovely newness. Read on to find out how to become the true master of your Vodafone account.
The updated app that you can download now paves the way for a bunch of features that’ll arrive over the coming months. New features will arrive gradually, but because of the way we’ve built this new version of the My Vodafone app, we can roll out future updates at the drop of a hat – without asking you to go through the traditional process of downloading a new version each time.
The result? New features for all Pay as you go and Pay Monthly customers to play with. Let’s take a look at what’s new and what’s coming for both…
Pay as you go
The list of features for Pay as you go customers is split between things that everyone can access now, and features that we’re making available to all Pay as you go customers over the course of this year.
First things first: the new app lets you see your Freebee Rewardz Pointz on the fly, making it even easier to decide if you’re going to Grab or Grow your Pointz.
Features rolling out to everyone before the end of the year are the ability to top up directly through the app, choosing from set prepay amounts and Freedom Freebees, as well as the ability view your remaining internet usage in MB, rather than in days remaining. You can also speak to the Vodafone live chat team for all your troubleshooting needs.
As well as all the stellar features that the My Vodafone app currently offers Pay monthly customers – such as monitoring your remaining data, texts and minutes – this new version adds some cool extras that give you even more control.
First up, there’s the ability to contact a member of the Vodafone live chat team from within the app. That makes it easy to get any issue that might occur solved quickly, without having to make a call. Perfect for problem solving from the bus.

Off on holiday? Then the second app tweak is right up your street. We’ve made it easier and quicker than ever to sign up to Vodafone EuroTraveller, which lets you save stacks of money when going abroad.
Now, the My Vodafone app will sense when you’re in one of our EuroTraveller countries and throw up a screen explaining the way the offer works, how you can bring your UK tariff with you, and how to opt-in with nothing but a simple text message. There’s more info on EuroTraveller here.
