These terms and our website terms govern your use of the Vodafone Social blog. There’s nothing frightening in here, but by using the blog we’ll take that as your acceptance of them.
What is the Vodafone Social blog?
The Vodafone Social blog is an online area created by us to encourage discussion around Vodafone news and features. It’s not a suitable place to submit queries or opinions about customer service or personal account questions. Should you require help of this kind please contact Customer Services in the usual way. You must be at least 13 years old to use the blog. If you’re between 13 and 18 please ensure that you have your parents’ or guardian’s consent before you use it, and feel free to introduce them to it as well, there’s something here for everyone.
Using the blog
By using the blog, you acknowledge that information may change over time. Please check the date of the post or comment thread and its content for any updates.
You are responsible for any content you post within the blog’s comments section. We welcome your thoughts, and want you to get involved, but any thoughts or opinions you share are your own.
You are also responsible for sharing Vodafone Social blog content on social networking sites, for example Facebook or Twitter, as well as all actions associated with your name (even if you decide to post anonymously).
By using the blog, you grant us an ongoing, payment-free, world-wide licence to reproduce, transfer, license, modify, adapt and/or publish any content posted by you on the blog. This might sound quite scary, but it simply means we can remove comments, or move content around the blog and share with other sites without asking for additional permission each time we do this. We will link to the blog from other online channels, for example Facebook, YouTube or Twitter.
If you believe the blog is being used inappropriately, or you see content that you believe is in breach of these terms, please notify us by flagging a comment as inappropriate. We will remove any content that is in breach of these terms.
Misuse and removal of content
We reserve the right to remove any of your contributions to the blog without notifying you. We won’t provide you with a copy of any content that you’ve created. When using the Vodafone Social blog, you must not make, and we will remove contributions, which we believe:
- Breach these terms, applicable laws or regulations;
- Are off-topic, offensive or inappropriate;
- Contain personal details;
- Will prevent others from enjoying or using the blog; or
- Are likely to damage our reputation or that of a third party.
We’re a welcoming bunch, and you don’t need to provide us with any personal information to use the blog, although you may share your name instead of posting anonymously. In fact, we would prefer it. Let’s get to know each other a bit.
For your own safety, please don’t post any personal information to the Vodafone Social blog. For example, your account information, home address or passwords. If you decide to opt in and share content and comments on other social networks, for example Twitter, you are responsible for complying with the rules of use for such services.
We may vary, amend or withdraw the Vodafone Social blog and may make changes to these terms at any time. If we do decide to make any significant changes any revised terms will become effective 14 days after being posted on the blog. If you continue to use the blog after this time we’ll take that as your acceptance of the revised terms.
You can stop using the blog at any time. These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law.
